Doutt Tool now offers new technology that replaces EDM and traditional form grinding with
milling and turning operations on hardened tool steels ranging from 56 to 66 HRc.
Hard Milling replaces EDM die sinking, saving on electrode machining and setup costs.
Hard Turning replaces conventional grinding with production rates up to five times faster.
 
The machine>harden>grind production cycle is broken and with the high stock removal rate,
coupled with the high quality finish produced, the tedious and time consuming process of edm
and grinding can be reduced, if not eliminated completely on a large variety of steel tooling.
